Data sources for system value reports

Note

To provide data to the new data sets, a new set of data storage tables and data generators were added to FactoryLogix version 8.251.0. This means that data will only be available for these data sets from the time FactoryLogix version 8.251.0 or newer has been in use at your site.

DataMiner uses three data sources in conjunction with your FactoryLogix data and the system value report templates to generate comprehensive reports for management and executives. The data sources are located in the System Administration category in Use DataMiner:

• Alarm Occurrences – Provides data based on Alarm Trigger Events, demonstrates the number of times FactoryLogix issued a call to action to prevent the escalation of issues.

• Process Introduction Releases – Provides data on product onboarding rates and times.

• Validation Exceptions – Provides data related to validation fail events and demonstrates the number of times FactoryLogix actively prevented an issue from occurring.
  
  
  

  

  
  
  

Data set validation and alarm types criteria

Validation and alarm types are in each of the data sets as check box criteria, allowing you to group and/or limit report data to your required related validation or alarm types.

Note

If a set of controls isn't being used in your FactoryLogix system, there will be no data for related value reporting in those areas. For example, if you don’t use material setup or capture in FactoryLogix, there will be no data for material setup validations such as incorrect material in any system value reports you generate.
