Serial Number Error Prevention

Use the Serial Number Error Prevention report to show the number of instances where FactoryLogix proactively prevented the creation or use of product and material serial numbers when they don’t conform to the required templates or aren’t unique serial numbers. The report prevents incorrect and unknown serial numbers from being used which could result in compliance and quality issues.

The following example shows a summary (by calendar month and validation category) of all serial number error prevention events.

The top half of the following example shows a summary (by operator and validation category) of all serial number error prevention events. The bottom half of the example shows a summary (by customer and validation category) of all serial number error prevention events.
