How data is generated

Important

If a set of controls isn't being used in a given solution, there will be no data for related value reporting in those areas. For example, if you aren’t using material setup or material capture, there won’t be any data for material setup validations such as incorrect material in the generated report.

Data is generated each time an alarm is triggered. The date of the alarm event and the alarm type are recorded as well as relevant product/process information.	Data is generated each time a process is released to production. The date created, date released, and modified user are recorded as well as relevant product/process information.	Data is generated each time a validation returns an error (that is, an unwanted action is prevented). The date of the exception and the validation type are recorded as well as relevant product/process/personnel information.
