Import material groups from SAP

FactoryLogix Integration Services offers a way for customers to import a large number of material groups along with their descriptions and associated stock resources from SAP into FactoryLogix Materials Management. Using the FactoryLogix integration, your imported material groups from SAP would include group name, material group description, and any stock resources associated to that material group, for example:

Importing material groups into FactoryLogix from SAP can be done for an initial data load and for any updates to material group values and associated data at a later date.

• If every <MaterialGroup> record in the XML data is successfully processed into the FactoryLogix database, the XML file will be moved to a Processed folder.

• If one or more <MaterialGroup> records in the XML data are not processed into the FactoryLogix database successfully, the system will write the unsuccessful records to an output file and move that to the Unprocessed folder. All successful records will be processed and written to an output that is moved to the Processed folder. A copy of the original file is also moved to the Unprocessed folder and an email sent to the email address defined in the Error Notification Email Address configuration setting in FactoryLogix Office.
