Vendors and materials management

Vendors play an important role in the materials management functions of FactoryLogix. Specifically, materials are received as part of a receiving process from a particular vendor. Each vendor in the Vendor Library can have several default settings. After you add a vendor to the library, you can assign a default sampling plan, receiving process, and a label for each vendor.

• To access the Vendor Library from the FactoryLogix Office Home window, select Libraries > Vendor Library.
  
  

  

  
  

You can return to this area at any time to add, edit, or delete vendors, define default sampling plans, receiving processes, and vendor labels.
