Change a part to an assembly

There may be times when you need to change an Internal Part Number to an assembly.

  1. Log into FactoryLogix Office.

  2. Select Libraries Libraries button > Part Library.

  3. On the Internal Part Number tab, select the part you want to make an assembly, then select the Mark As Assembly Mark As Assembly button button.

Warning

Once you change an Internal Part Number to an assembly, you cannot change it back to a part. The change is reflected in the Assembly Library automatically.
